The Voices that Tell Our Stories ∞ Our writers are as diverse as our characters. They have a sense of humor, humility, perseverance and stamina. But mostly, they have much needed, unusual perspectives that show up in their words. One writer is the head of African-American Studies at the College of Charleston; another is the production partner of the late Philip Seymour Hoffman who produced the award-winning film, Capote; one is an Emmy-nominated writer and producer of National Geographic’s Brain Games; another a former (female) Israeli soldier; and one is a Ph.D. in Medieval Studies.
