The Voices that Tell Our Stories
∞
Our writers are as diverse as our characters. They have a sense of humor, humility, perseverance and stamina. But mostly, they have much needed, unusual perspectives that show up in their words. One writer is the head of African-American Studies at the College of Charleston; another is the production partner of the late Philip Seymour Hoffman who produced the award-winning film, Capote; one is an Emmy-nominated writer and producer of National Geographic’s Brain Games; another a former (female) Israeli soldier; and one is a Ph.D. in Medieval Studies.
Validating Our Stories
∞
Our stories are meant for children and young adults, so we employ an expansive network of our target market that makes up our Editorial Review Board. From the halls of elementary schools to the dorms of universities, we ensure our stories are approved by this dynamic group of readers.
